Celebrating a Year of Slow Food Impact on the East End
Join Slow Food East End on December 7 to celebrate Chef Finn O'Hara and Alexander and Anna Perros, the owners of Silver Sands. They will receive our Snail of Approval Award for their three restaurants: Nookies, Eddie's and The Boathouse. The Award presentation will be the highlight of Slow Food East End's Annual Public Board Meeting when guests will also meet 2026 leaders and celebrate the work of Slow Food East End.
The Boathouse at Silver Sands welcomes Slow Food East End to host our Annual Meeting at their newly opened beachside eatery in Greenport on Sunday December 7 between 1-3pm .
We'll toast Silver Sands eateries for earning our Snail of Approval Award and introduce new board leaders, and you'll enjoy light bites by Chef Finn O'Hara. Guests will also be served wine generously donated by Macari Vineyards.
Space is limited, all guests must register in advance for a ticket.
Slow Food members who paid 2025 dues are welcome to attend for free.
New or or non-members are welcome to register for a membership via our website to attend for free. Otherwise you may purchase a general admission ticket with a donation. Space is limited so register early. All ticket proceeds benefit Slow Food East End. Your donations allow us to provide programming and engagement to support good, clean, fair food for all.”
